Oh my …it’s been quite awhile since I have blogged on cookieaisle.com. With the official arrival of Spring, I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things. In the meantime, I have been pretty busy off line during these past dreary winter months.

WRITING UPDATES
I have been hard at work on my manuscript WHEN RAIN FALLS with a wonderful editor, Robin Caldwell. I have also registered for my first writer’s conference, Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference.

WHEN RAIN FALLS has been entered into three different contests and I’m looking forward to more feedback as this manuscript continues to grow and develop. I’m definitely starting to like the characters and the story. Read more about WHEN RAIN FALLS and this book series in the following section: In The Oven.

BIBLE STUDY UPDATES
The women’s ministry group is finishing up the Lisa Harper study, Holding Out for a Hero. The book of Hebrews is not an easy book to study, but Lisa’s down to earth lesson guide really helped a lot. If you are looking for someone new to try for bible study, I highly recommend a study by Lisa Harper.

Speaking of bible study teachers, this coming Friday a group of us will be going to see one of our favorites, Joyce Meyer. We wanted to see Beth Moore, but her conferences sold out fast.

BOOK REVIEWS
Well, let’s say I have a ton of reviews to write and will be posting those soon!
