Happily Even After
by Marilynn Griffith
Marriage, Motherhood and a Monster-in-Law.

Honorable Mention
I had a nice surprise today after a stormy weekend. The following message was in my inbox.
"Congratulations, Tyora! You’ve been chosen as one of the honorable mentions for your back cover blurb entry this week at Pix-N-Pens.
This was really encouraging to me because Tracy was only planning to pick one winner. There were so many good entries, she chose two winners and two honorable mentions. I’m honored!
I have a lot of work ahead of me towards completing the When Rain Falls manuscript, but I have been working consistently each week on 2-3 chapters and I like how the story has progressed. It’s making more sense now!
I’ve learned quite a bit about writing compared to the draft I had this time last year. I pray to have a strong manuscript by the spring.
Check out my back cover blurb and the others at Pix-N-Pens. Let me know what you think.

by Camy Tang
It’s a new year and Trish Sakai is ready to leave the past behind her. There’s a slight problem though, she’s still attracted to her ex-boyfriend Kazuo. More than anything, she needs to move on, but how can she when Kazuo continues to confess his love for her.
Trish’s grandmother, the no-nonsense matriarch of the family has determined it’s time for her single granddaughter to settle down and marry a good Japanese man. While her grandmother maybe well-intentioned, Kazuo is not a Christian and definitely not the man for Trish.
