Do Non-African American readers read African American books? That’s a question that floats around quite often among my writing and reading circles. Writing buddy and author, Linda Leigh Hargrove, writes a great article on Christian Fiction Online Magazine about this topic. One of my favorite authors is Claudia Mair Burney. Read almost everything she’s written, so I guess the answer is yes. Also, read some of Marilynn Griffith. As long as the story grabs me, I don’t what their ethnicity is.
